Foth Environmental Solutions is currently seeking a self-directed, results-oriented Project Occupational Health and Safety Scientist/Engineer
who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients success. This position can be based out of one of our Midwest offices (e.g. Green Bay, WI,Madison, WI, Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL). May consider a remote position for the right individual.

Position Overview: Provide EHS compliance consulting services to Foth s clients related to Occupational Health and Safety and environmental compliance, management systems, and risk management.
Primary Responsibilities
* Evaluations of client workplaces, health and safety management systems, and health and safety programs to assess hazards and risks, compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying areas for improvement
* Assisting clients in developing and implementing hazard controls to prevent injuries and illnesses.
* Development and delivery of health and safety training
* Performing qualitative and / or quantitative Industrial Hygiene assessments.
* Work on-site at industrial locations with limited supervision while interacting directly with the client or client s employees
* Assisting clients with environmental regulatory compliance in the form of preparing permit applications or environmental plans, environmental reporting to regulatory agencies, assisting with waste management, and similar environmental compliance related activities
* Work effectively, as a vital contributor, with diverse business and technical team members to deliver multiple projects on time and within defined scope
* Travel as required for field work and/or other client/business objectives

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, engineering, or equivalent degree
* Thorough knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) regulations and standards
* Basic knowledge and understanding of Clean Air Act (CAA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Emergency Planning and Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC) and similar environmental regulations
* CSP and / or CIH certification (an ASP or CIH candidate with intent to complete the CSP or CIH Exam within a year may also be considered)
* A passion for injury prevention, risk reduction and learning
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills when imperfect data, limited information or ambiguity exists
* Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Both CSP and CIH certifications
* Safety Management experience
* Experience managing incident investigations, OSHA inspections, root cause analysis, safety committees, or using enterprise wide EHS information systems/databases
* Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations, standards, and practices
* DOT Hazardous Materials and Motor Carrier Safety compliance experience
* Industry knowledge including food and beverage, manufacturing, and solid waste
* Consulting and client development experience
* Completion of Lead ISO 45001 Auditor training and / or ISO related experience

The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses. Eligible full-time and part-time members will be offered medical, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, disability, retirement, holiday pay, and several other voluntary benefits. Base compensation range: $60,000 - $100,000
