* Handle Corrpro US Credit and Collections by supporting, motivating and leading a team responsible for the timely resolution of collection issues in order to minimize financial risks and bad debt exposure

* Management role that will supervise a team of 4 Collectors

* Assess customers credit situation and credit worthiness

* Ensure the adherence and effectiveness to the collection process and sets business controls within daily operational procedures affecting initiatives/projects to enable the timely collection of cash

* Perform account monitoring and collection of major customer accounts

* Establish appropriate controls and procedures as appropriate to ensure a strong compliance environment

* Design and implement credit and collections strategies to improve performance across all branches and revenue streams

* Develop negotiated strategies to resolve customer disputes

* Support and monitor the resolution of customer issues and billing problems - escalating when required to senior management

* Develop common goals with Customer Service and Sales departments to ensure effective alignment

* Work closely with senior management in developing collection strategies and pursuing outstanding customer balances

* Manage cash application process

* Respond timely to inquiries from staff and internal clients regarding policies, procedures and applicable collection strategies for each client

* Mentor new employees within the Credit and Collections Department

* Attract and retain high quality employees by focusing on coaching and recognition

* Assist with audit as it related to AR, treasury, and collections items

Qualifications

* Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience

* 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable/Collections

* 2 years of management experience

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

* JDE experience helpful

* Experience with lien waivers and prevailing wage effects on collections a plus

* Must be a driven, self-starter, who is adaptive and has the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

* Must have a leader, not boss, mentality

* Must possess strong analytical skills, possess strong communication skills, and operate well within a fast-paced culture

* Ability to communicate effectively with others, at all levels throughout the organization

* Possess better than average written and spoken communication skills
