A Donor Recruiter Will Recruit for Community Participation in Blood Drives
The Central California Blood Center is seeking a dynamic sales professional to join our team as a Donor Recruiter. This position is crucial to the mission of the Central California Blood Center and is one that successfully plans, coordinates and schedules blood drives throughout our five county service area, while maintaining efficient costs per unit and projection accuracy. The Donor Recruiter is someone who will build awareness for the need for blood and inspire people to donate regularly.
A BS/BA in marketing, public relations, communications or administration, and prior sales experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills and clear ability to communicate verbally and in writing are key competencies of the ideal candidate. The candidate must be proficient and comfortable with computer use and will be trained to use software used by the organization. Travel throughout the service area is required as needed to provide quality service and care to those who support the mission.
The successful candidate is one who works well in a collaborative team environment, yet independently and with limited supervision. Bilingual -English/Spanish a plus.

The Central California Blood Center provides blood and services to patients who receive care at 30 hospitals and their network of facilities in Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Kings and Mariposa Counties. 5,000 to 6,000 pints of blood must be collected per month to meet the needs of patients in our Central Valley community.
