State Accounts

A. Employer account is not available - create a new one

Create a new employer account on the state board. Before you start, please collect the information needed to create a new account. In addition to your name, position and contact information, you may need your company’s Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), State Unemployment Insurance Number (SUIN), Company Name and Address as shown in your State Unemployment Insurance Account. Follow the steps below:

♦ Go to the appropriate state job board from here (https://www.jobfindah.com/state-job-bank/)

♦ Click to create a new employer account and follow the steps

♦ Make sure to provide correct Company name, FEIN, SUIN and Address

♦ Complete registration and keep a record of username, password and security hints

♦ Check your email for any verification info or expect a call within 48 hours for account verification

B. Password change requires company verification and/or additional information

Most states require password changes after a certain number of days (usually 90 days) and Jobfindah personnel monitors intervals to do these updates. In some instances, especially after long a period of inactivity due to no job postings in a particular state, a password change often requires additional verification – such as a confirmation of automated email of the registered account holder or answer to any security question attached to the account. Lacking the required information, we request you to call the state employment hot-line or open a ticket or send an email requesting a password change. The state requires that an HR contact of the employer to verify information and not the third party vendor such as Jobfindah.

C. Invalid credential – can’t login as system returns with wrong username/password message

It is common for states to invalidate a password or a username from time to time for various reasons. Most common among the reasons being an account that has not been used for a long time, or a result of an audit. In such cases, our personnel can not solve the issue and the employer needs to intervene directly. Simply place a call to the state support or open a ticket by going to the state employment site ( find at this link https://www.jobfindah.com/state-job-bank/). You should hear back from the state in a day or two. If not, contact them again by a phone call or a new ticket.

Another option in such cases is to create a new account altogether using the steps outlined above. Please note that you will lose your old posting records on the state job board – however, Jobfindah maintains a screenshot of prior postings and that might be adequate in case of an audit.

D. Account locked – you can login but can’t do anything else

The state often conducts an audit of the account and if anything is found to be inappropriate, it may temporarily de-activate your account. In such a case, please see the email inbox of the account holder and check for any verification email that requires your attention. If not, place a call to the state support or open a ticket by going to the state employment site (find  here https://www.jobfindah.com/state-job-bank/ ). You should hear back from the state in a day or two. If not, contact them again by a phone call or open a new ticket.

E. Can’t post Jobs – you can login but no permission to post jobs

It is common for some states to have a waiting period for new accounts before approving job postings privileges. However, if this happens after several dates of creating a new account or to an existing account please check if your job posting limit has exceeded (yes – some states will remove job posting privilege if they see an excessive number of job postings) or if something that they do not like. place a call to the state support or open a ticket by going to the state employment site (click here for the state job boards https://www.jobfindah.com/state-job-bank/ ). You should hear back from the state in a day or two. If not, contact them again by a phone call or open a new ticket.
